Phone Zap Help

Sending a Phone Zap Character Voice Greeting is a simple process involving nothing more than following the prompts when you phone in and recording your own greeting. Your greeting is then attached to the message as it is sent.

Our support section will help you should you have encountered a problem using the service. Please select a topic from the list below. Also check our Terms and Conditions to verify other issues surrounding our service that may have affected the delivery.

The main factors being :

• Greetings can only be sent to mobile phones within Australia
• You must record at least your name for the service to work
• Messages will not be sent to Operator assisted messaging services
• Engaged or Switched Off phones not with a MessageBank service will only be redialled three times over a 180 minute period.

My greeting didn't work – nothing was delivered

Our service delivers to ALL types of mobile phones located within Australia. If the intended recipient has advised you that they did not receive a message you need work through the following checklist with them.
• Did the recipient have their phone turned on ?
• Were they in a reasonable coverage area to receive calls on their mobile ?
• Did you send the message to a valid MOBILE telephone ?
• Does the recipient have a paid account with a mobile service ?

Remember our system does not deliver to operator-assisted memo or messaging type services.
If the answer to any of the above is yes and the message was still not received you'll need to fill out the error reporting page so we can investigate. We’ll respond to your report within two working days.

My message wasn't attached to the character voice greeting

Our system has been developed to only send messages with valid greetings attached. Think of a message being in two parts. The first is our character content, the second the message you recorded during the messaging building process. If only the first part of a message was delivered with no second part (your salutation or message) you’ll need to fill out the error reporting page so we can investigate. We will respond to your report within two working days.

The message dropped out midway through delivery

Sadly, from time to time mobile telephone networks drop out and we are not in a position to know the quality of service for the recipients phone before we send a message.

The Message quality was poor or inaudible

We’re not talking about the recipient being in a noisy area or at an Aerosmith concert - that we can’t help. Occasionally there are incompatibilities between our system, the network and a users handset. If this is the case you’ll need to fill out the error reporting page so as we can investigate. We will respond to your report within two working days.

Your friend has sent you a Phone Zap Character Voice Greeting. This is a brand new service that enables people to send fun and emotive greetings to mobile telephones. Smile, someone thinks highly enough of you to have paid for and sent you this greeting. If you wish to be blocked from receiving our messages please phone 0407 836 025 and your service will be blocked within two working days.

I have received a rude or offensive message

Unfortunately like many things we rely on the honesty and integrity of our users. Sadly, however, not every person is nice. If you have received a message that has upset or offended you please phone 0407 836 025 and we’ll quickly work with you to remedy the situation. This includes reporting harassing and offensive behaviour/users to the appropriate authorities.

I don’t know the person that sent me this message

When a user accesses our system we are relying on their honesty and integrity. We stipulate our users record at the very least their full real name. Sadly, however, not every person is users the system in the method it was designed. If you do not recognise the name or the voice of the sender and you have received a message that has upset or offended you please phone 0407 836 025 and we’ll quickly work with you to remedy the situation which means if need be blocking your number from receiving our messages and/or reporting harassing and offensive behaviour/users to the appropriate authorities.
