Toy giant Mattel has obtained a court order banning a new movie that shows Barbie having lesbian sex.

The film, "Barbie Gets Sad, Too," made in Argentina, shows the doll having sex with her Latina servant.

It was scheduled to debut at Mexico City's Urban-Fest film festival, but Mattel successfully argued that it would spoil Barbie's image."This is a pornographic video," a Mattel lawyer said.

Mattel has made use of the courts in the past to stop Barbie being used in various guises. Barbie herself, probably the world's most popular doll, has undergone numerous image changes since she first appeared in the 1960s.
